Cambridgeshire coronavirus: The schools in Cambridgeshire with confirmed cases of Covid-19

As coronavirus cases continue to rise around the UK, parents are becoming increasingly concerned about sending their children to school.

And although expert advice has previously said children are unlikely to catch or transmit the virus – some schools in the county have been forced to act after reporting positive cases.

Two schools in Cambridgeshire and one on the Suffolk border have confirmed cases of Covid-19.

A spokesman for Public Health England advised parents that it is “more important than ever to follow the Government’s advice on on social distancing, hand hygiene and other infection control measures.”

Dr Edwards also said: “Anyone who is showing any symptoms of coronavirus should not attend school, self-isolate for 10 days and book a test.”
